Pic #4 - One day, Mom decided it would be a good idea to teach me to fall asleep on my own so she gave me her sports bra so I could smell her and put on the blow dryer so the white noise would lull me to sleep...it worked...that one time...

My power has been cut off....stupid parents!!! I was so cute with my long spikes and then they had to go and ruin it. Now I look like a mini-daddy...kind of... Mommy was sad after they made the first cut...she wanted to take it back, but stupidly had cut down the middle of my head so there was no turning back. Thanks, Dad, for suggesting the 5/8 in. guard...didn't you realize that would be TOO short? Oh well, guess it'll grow back...hopefully soon...it'll never be the same!!!

Today I got my first round of vaccinations...three shots and one oral vaccine. I was a champ!!! I screamed when the nurse poked me, but after she was done Mommy picked me up and I passed out. That was at around 8:45 and now it's 11:00 and I'm still asleep. Doctor said I might get a fever 6-12 hours after the shots so Mommy and Daddy will have to keep an eye out for that.

At two months old, Doctor Ryan said that I'm average size of a 3.5 month old baby. He said the growth will probably continue until I'm about 6 months, then it will slow down a bit. I'm 24.5 inches long (past two feet!!!) and 13 lbs. 13 oz.

Whoa...Mommy had to leave this and return to it now because I had a major fit...I was screaming bloody murder cuz the place where they poked my leg is all red and feverish and sore. Right now I'm sleeping...Mommy was holding me and I fell asleep again...we'll see how I do cuz Daddy has to watch me while Mommy goes to class for two hours.

#1 - See my big boy tummy! Does it look like I have man-boobs? Gramma Colmenares asked how come my nipples are so far apart, but Daddy's are too.

#2 - Gramma Elaine, see how ugly I look with my hair combed down? I have to rock my spikes!!!

#3 - I am so strong that I can hold my head up like this for at least 10 seconds...give me something good to look at and I'll be mesmerized...Grandpa Colmenares said that when I was at their house I was looking at the "sexy ladies" when they came on tv. Lol.

#4 - Reading with Mommy...she only thinks I'm paying attention...actually I'm staring at the red orangutan dolls up on the shelf!

Right now I'm sitting in my bouncer, intently gazing at the moving monkey and frog and waterfall...my legs are kicking, my arms are moving, and I'm making little satisfied noises and smiling. I'm so lovable when I'm like this!!!

1 - my new toy!!! mommy finally took it out for me!

2 - getting baptized...i did a good job and hardly cried!!!

3 - i am SO happy!!!! i love my leap...he sings the abc's to me!

4 - the shirt says, "No Act...I Only Look Small"...lol...i definitely don't look small at all!!!

Some new things I'm doing...

• talking...when I'm calm and happy, I talk a lot...I'm experimenting with all these different sounds I can make...I also added a new scream to my repertoire when I'm fussing...
• smiling...I smile a lot now...especially when Mommy does her high pitched super sweet voice...it's so funny...she vowed she wouldn't talk like that but she does...she's practicing to be an elementary school teacher
• taking a nap...well, maybe only for 25-30 minutes max, but still, it's new (I used to sleep a lot before...but for the past couple weeks I have been taking little cat naps only, which only makes me fussier cuz I'm so tired)
  
• eating more...after four ounces I give little whimpers like I want more milk...last night Mommy had to give me a couple extra ounces before I went to sleep...I think I may be moving up to five ounces at a time real soon...that's why I'm a little fatso

#2 - In my carrier...I don't particularly like it, but Mommy's been forcing me in it.

#3 - My new sleeping place...the crib is so much more comfortable than the little bassinet!!! I can move around freely and Mommy can easily see that my head is positioned correctly when I'm sleeping.

#4 - This is what I look like a LOT of the time...I just fake when people are around and act like I'm good...but when it's just me, Mommy, and Daddy, I throw big fits!!!

#5 - I love listening to my Rock Luv cd...I especially love to laugh when Mommy and Daddy sing to me...don't they know they're awful singers???
